random but how do you make a character daily blog or just character centric blog? how do you run it?

cuz i’m thinking about making a whitty one. maybe whitty weekly or smth so i have a looser schedule

to be very honest, I wouldn’t say there’s a certain script or template you have to follow in order to make a character-centric gimmick blog. all that matters imo is that you stick to the character and have fun with it. a lot of these kinds of blogs are art based, which is great for those who have time and enjoy making art! but ofc it’s not a hard and fast rule — have you seen how many memes and shortfics I’ve posted instead of art lol

a weekly Whitty themed blog sounds like a lot of fun! definitely less stressful than a daily blog, at least in my experience ^^; not gonna lie it can be difficult to get myself to post every day. it’s good to know your limits and be able to figure out a schedule that meets your needs while letting you have fun and dedicate yourself to a project like this.

with running the blog itself, I actually came up with my url, title, and most of my tags beforehand so it was easy for me to categorize my posts from the beginning. #tea for thought is my general/ramble tag, plus I have separate tags for Psychic’s different interpersonal relationships and all that fun stuff.

Of course none of that is required, but I personally enjoy developing Psychic’s dynamics with other characters so for me organizing my posts about them is important. Depending on what parts of Whitty’s character you like to focus on the most, you can organize your tagging system to feature those alongside having regular tags for different kinds of media: art, fics, edits, etc. or don’t! it’s completely up to you.

generally, I’d take a pretty relaxed approach to running any sort of character fanblog ^^ just pick a cool palette you think matches the character, set up an intro post with a link to the source material, rules for interaction, and a small navigation guide. you don’t really need anything else!

just remember that the point of these blogs is to have fun and talk about your favorite character! if anyone gives you a tough time for how you’re running your blog don’t hesitate to block them. if you do decide to start a Whitty-centric blog please tag me so I can follow! :D wish you the best of luck in this endeavor <3

Whitty: He's lowkey a bit scared to start a family. Ofc he wants nothing more than to be safe and surrounded by loved ones, but he's scared of the GG hunting him (or them) down. With the promise to hire extra security, though, he calms down and hugs you tightly, thanking you as he tears up.

Tabi: GF's family treated him like shit just for fame, so when you suggest starting a family (like with pets or adopting a kid), he thinks you just want one for the paparazzi. But when you insist that's not the case, he'll think about it for a while...but eventually agrees with getting a pet. He just wants to live a comfortable life.

Agoti: All those years in the Void made him miss out on a lot of things. So your idea of starting a family gets him a little emotional. A place to settle down is all he really wants, and he's gonna make sure his future family doesn't throw anyone into the Void for petty reasons--only if they did something genuinely horrible.

Senpai: Oh, he's gonna get extremely emotional. Like..he'll literally burst into tears and hug you tightly. He was robbed of a lot of things in life, so to be a father to a pet and/or kid would make him so damn happy. He'll do whatever needs to be done to make that possible and put the past behind him.

Tankman: Mentions of fatherhood usually send John into an episode, so you suggest raising a pet together and settling down somewhere. He'd love that, but also worries about leaving his men and you should he need to return to the battlefield. Though in time..you both make it work.

and since i saw a few anons posting vanillabomb headcanons and thought i'd be able to share the few scattered ones i have as well~

they both have vastly different and extremely unorthodox ways of showing affection--mostly because they're 1) afraid of seeming cheesy toward the other and 2) public displays of affection make them want to die

whitty attempts to use words and compliments whenever ruv appears more down than usual--it usually ends up sounding like aggressive insults, but they've known each other long enough to get used to it

ruv would, in turn, try to be more physically affectionate--this, however, results in him accidentally but lightly injuring the other; whitty can regenerate pretty quickly though, so it usually isn't a problem (much to sarv's dismay)

of course, sarvente does try to remedy this, but eventually learns that it's useless to recondition their way of 'showing affection'

i would also say that this would stem towards them never publicly talking about their relationship or putting a label on it--they hate that mushy stuff, so they just leave it alone until either of them are ready to talk; they never come to that point

on an unrelated note, they both occasionally deprive themselves of sleep, either from insomnia or generally from feeling too restless to sleep

as a result, when they do eventually pass out from exhaustion, they try to find each other--their excuses:

whitty: "i get hot in my sleep, it just so happens ruv is a walking popsicle-"

ruv: "whitty is a heater."

on a related note, they could end up passing out anywhere without warning: while maintaining the church, while eating, even in public--one would usually pass out before the other, but it usually becomes sarv's problem to lug them onto a real bed

lastly for now, every single date they would have would end in a chase sequence--either by someone from ruv's past coming to haunt him or by the organisation hunting whitty down. either way, it's usually the highest point of their dates, and strangely enough the ones they always look forward to

the wanted plots! (unless stated otherwise, these plots are open to all genders)

your love is my drug: this one is going to involve a lot of angst, possibly be a little dark depending on far you want to go. your muse and liz used to be in a really solid relationship. they were the ‘it’ couple: the one teens would dedicate their tumblr blogs too, the one that was always labeled as ‘goals.’ but that was until doors were closed. that’s when the screaming matches would happens. yours hated her secret (if you choose this plot, i will let you know what it is!), thought she never gave them the attention they deserved, and liz thought yours wouldn’t accept her the way she was. there would be screaming, and things would be thrown, (but of course they never laid a hand on each other). this relationship was the reason why liz swore of settling down and relationships in general. despite all of that, these two feel drawn to each other, taking out their anger inbetween in the sheets. no matter how may times they swear each other off, they’re addicted to each other and can’t get enough. 

all for one and one for all: this one i need two people for! depending on how many people want this, you can use two of your characters, but it would be fun if two different muns wanted this! two muses (muse a the more laid back one and muse b being the more jealous one or vise versa idc) and liz have been this ‘trio’ (if you know what i mean) for awhile now. the three of them going at it together, being each other’s wingman/woman, getting blasted together, etc etc. when they started it, they swore no one sees (fucks) each other without all three of them present. but lord only knows promises only last for so long. maybe muse a and liz start seeing each other behind muse b’s back, or maybe muse and and muse b see each other behind her back! point it, promises are broken, and soon a bond is broken too. i think this one would be really cool to have! but if no one is comfortable to do it, then that’s okay! <3 have a drink of me: this is your simple drinking buddies. your muse and liz  personalities just don’t mix well. they really don’t have much in common other than loving to party and have a good time with liquor. they feed each other’s addiction, never knowing really knowing when to stop. they’re there to provide the booze and hold each other’s hair, but outside of that scene, they don’t really spend a whole lot of time together. in a way you could say they use each other to get what they want.

oh no, i think i’m catching feelings that i don’t know: this is a plot slightly based off the song ‘sex’ by eden. your muse and liz are fuck buddies. plain and simple. no strings attached. they call each other up when they need a quick shag, and leave once it’s over: no cuddling, no conversation, nothing. that all changes until one night after both of them had a drink, either your muse or liz spills something dark (we would really have to plot this to figure this out). next thing you know, they find each other lingering around a little longer each time. before you know it, they’re both catching feelings, which of course, never ends well.

almost is never enough: this fling probably would have happened shortly after the first plot i posted. liz convinced herself maybe she could commit again. maybe she could allow herself to love. your muse and liz had a deep connection: maybe it was over a night of drinks, maybe it was because they had a night stand, but whatever it was, it sealed the deal. they were inseparable and understood each other. liz really found herself falling for this one person and could see herself changing. but oFC (drumroll for cliche twist....) she gets scared and fucks it up! now these two have broken pieces that could be put back together. we will be everything we’d ever need: f/nb. gimmie bad girl meets good girl. your muse (female or nonbinary) have drawn liz due to how sweet and innocent they are! maybe it’s because they care about the social issues, or maybe it’s because they love kids, or maybe it’s because they are animal lovers. whatever it is, liz is drawn to it. seeing the passion in their eyes is a way to wrap her around their finger, and she can’t get them out of their head. she knows she’s so toxic for them, but she can’t seem to keep them away.  OTHER PLOTS: pr stunts ofc, fwb with no strings, exes on good terms, childhood best friends, ride or die, good influence, sister/brother like relationship, enemies with benefits (i love), ex friends, friends for the cameras,

my name was ryan and gf's name was sophie. my hair was dyed but pico's wasnt, i was also childhood friends with him. sophie and i's relationship was not super healthy, instead of her dad sending people after me it was her (she wanted me to "prove my love" or some shit). i was legit simping so hard i didnt care about this or other red flags. the biggest of which was when after pico started trying to point out how sketchy she was she forbade me from speaking to him. other than that i think most characters roles were the same, aside from senpai ofc (check out the b side mod for the explanation of that).

whitty:

pretty much same as canon at least in origin. tgg lost track of me and i ended up rooming with some guys who i ended up forming an underground punk band with. we got a little to popular for my own good, and it got the attention of daddy dearest and he alerted tgg. i had an argument with my bandmates after gf came to warn me and i fled. i met hex quickly after that, and he was a lot different than canon hex (so much different that i cant really go into too much detail here lol), and carol some time after. both offered me lodge but i never stayed more than a week straight, anxiety keeping me moving.

when bf found me he cornered me into a rap battle as his usual. after the third song i exploded but bf and gf were able to get away. my explosion sizes actually varied so it just left a lot of damage in the alley. bf came and found me about two weeks later to apologize, which actually worried me since i felt like hed found me too easily. I guess he sensed my discomfort and tried to ease my worries, assuring me that he wasn't there to harm me or tell anyone my location. I guess GF told him what she knew about me after all (I don't think he knew when we'd met previously). He just wanted to apologize for pushing my limits and that I didn't even have to forgive him. I instantly did mentally, but lied and told him I'd think about it just to get him to leave. I felt bad about doing that, but I did need some time to reflect. I did tell him I forgave him later.

also i think bf's name was some variation of jay or jaydin.

senpai:

i have the fewest memories for him jsyk

i was the game character, spirit was not me. spirit fused to my code and gave me sentience and it freaked me out really bad. also daddy dearest's watch had something to do with spirit but idk what yet.

mean minus bf:

the other bf's were my brothers, we were all interested in different people. beta bf was with gf, i think blue may have had a crush on senpai, and i was head over heels for pico. i was way to stubborn to admit this for a long long time, but eventually we ended up together so it was nice. also everyone was on pretty good terms with each other, even us and gf's parents. pico was also some kind of were-lizard? idk lol

pretty similar to canon in origin. i had a big friend group that consisted of bf, pico, whitty, and garcello. bf dated gf for a bit but realized he wasnt really interested in women but they stayed close friends and he had crushes on all of us at one point or another lol. i mostly remember non-important feeling stuff from this canon like and attempt at making soup for bf when he got sick.

none of us were fully human i think lol; pico was a demon and garcello was some kind of shadow monster?? thing?? yeah

id share more from this but i dont really wanna put triggering stuff and prefer to keep it light for this post anyway.

hex (timeline 2):

hanahaki au. yeah, this is where the idea for the ask blog came from. again id like to keep it light here but uh. lets just say not everything from this is the same as the ask blog. i will say though that i was really close to static and displo and considered them like cousins.

updike (timeline 1):

beta storyline au. got the blue trench coat and was taller than whitty. we were just rivals, i worked as a weatherman. tgg actually did still exist but i never worked for them. they existed because a lot of people in that world had powers, they were more of a regulatory organization. a shady one though, if you were deemed dangerous or used your powers for bad theyd hunt you down and study how to suppress your powers or worse make you work for them. it was weird and kinda freaky.

updike (timeline 2):

this is the updike were used to. since i was only 4 years older than whitty, the guy hunting the bomb before me was actually my dad. when my mom died in an accident involving whitty my dad brought me to tgg to join the ranks. years later though i would come to understand whitty better and wanted to quit, but realized tgg isnt the kind of organization you can just leave whenever. that, and if i left someone new would just torment whitty. i had a lot of regrets about everything and i even became a bit dependent on alcohol (specifically wine) to cope.

everything i know is pretty much the same except the end of the rap battle with bf was the scrapped "funk'd up" ending. i malfunctioned right as i was trying to leave and i didnt end up escaping the tv world. not gonna go into too much detail here bc its kinda just really sad.

Do you think you could write some headcannons of Whitty, Hex, and Garcello (separate) either helping or comforting a reader dealing with severe homesickness and anxiety moving into a new place, please? (I've recently moved to a new place for school and due to lots of stressors and lack of sleep ended up having a bad breakdown. I'm okay at the moment, but just searching for things to help me feel comfortable)

Granted, Whitty doesn't really understand the feeling of homesickness, so he might not be the best person to go to for comfort-

Having said that though, he will try his best!

His number one thing to say is that no matter where you go, he'll always be there with you :]

Likes to give you little trinkets from your old home! He used to snatch stuff thinking it would be useful and now here he was-

He'll just try to make wherever the two of you are more like a home

HEX:

Hex probably is the one out of this list who understands homesickness the most

This is due to what happened with Rich Guy. He thinks of him often

But anyway! He mostly tries to make you feel at home wherever you're at! He'll be just as sweet to you in your new home as he was at your old one :]

Does like. all the house chores- Mostly because he knows you're stressed and doesn't want you to stress yourself out any further

He'll take you around the new place and the area around it so you can both just learn the arae

GARCELLO:

Garcello also doesn't understand what homesickness is like-

He'll try his best to help you though, offering to comfort you in whatever way you'd like

He'd probably help you do things to keep your mind off of it, but at the same time makes sure it isn't too stressful-

McDonald's becomes a comfort place (hopefully- his comfort food is mcdonald's so he hopes it works with you-)

He likes to joke that the spirit of your old home has transported over to your new one :]
